I'm back!
And I don't just mean from Palma, as we got back from there on the 30th June, but I mean I'm also back to the Blogosphere. I've finally found the time to catch up on my week in Spain with the gals and to document it on here. I feel slightly bad that it has almost been a week since I got back and I haven't written anything, but time escaped me. On the 1st July I had to go back to school *yawn* to help with the year 6's who will become the new year 7's in September, then on the 2nd July I had my induction afternoon into the Sixth Form and then on the 3rd July was my taster day which gave me the opportunity to have a lesson in the subjects I'm going to be taking for A-Level: English Literature, Geography, History and Psychology (in case anyone is remotely interested!). Then yesterday was spent down at Mudeford and Christchurch with my dad who is back in the UK for work and consequently spending the weekends with us- a little bonus before our 5 weeks with him in Florida!
So, those are my excuses. Sorry. But I suppose rather than wasting my time waffling on about anything else, I should start telling the story of my Spanish adventure, after-all, it was pretty amazing...
First, I must just put in a 'thank you' to my best friend who kindly made it possible for me to tell you about this as I was too lazy to write in my travel journal which I took to make notes... After one entry of the travelling day I sort of failed that one. Luckily, my bestie is an avid diary writer and kindly kept an itinerary in the back so I could update this with things we did everyday. So, thanks, Chick.
And that brings me to the people I went with, Meg, Lizzie and Alice (Hi, Alice- you're mentioned, don't get too excited and have a heart attack or something!). We stayed on Lizzie's parents' yacht called Postremo. It was a stunning Oyster 56 and the biggest yacht I've ever been on. I went sailing in Greece once before, but the boat was smaller and it was a good few years ago so I don't remember much. It's safe to say this trip will be one I do remember!
I've decided that I'm going to write each day on a separate post, otherwise this one post would be absolutely hhhuuuggeee, especially with all the photos I took... So, I'll go gather my photos together, get the itinerary and after my breakfast waffles I'll start writing, it may take a fair while and not necessarily all the days will be posted today- sorry.
Since I'm eating breakfast I'll add, 'Happy Breakfasting!' and leave you with this taster photo...
