I'm writing this on the 3rd August but I'll combine it with a few more days as today was a very relaxed day and I have no photos to add, so no good for Pinterest.
I got up late and for most of the day I lounged around on my bed surfing the web for Sixth Form clothes whilst listening to Tim Minchin songs. I also tried out some new hairstyles and make-up looks. At about 5:45pm when Dad got home from work we went to Marshalls and Walmart. I managed to find four tops in Marshalls I can wear in Sixth Form. Marshalls is like a TK Maxx or Ross, it's full of discounted clothes. My favourite kind of shop.
For dinner we had poached eggs on toast and then blended up the last of the cookies we had with some milk to make a cookie milkshake. It was really good, especially topped with some squirty cream. :D
Now we're just watching some TV and looking at trips to book in Puerto Rico. It's so exciting!
4th August:
We spent Tuesday a lot like Monday, but we also went to the pool. I started reading one of my summer reading books- Slaughterhouse 5. I don't really understand it... great start for my next two years I know. I'm going to look it up at the end and see if what I think is going on is what the book is supposed to be saying, or if I've completely missed it...
I ended up a bit pink after our pool sesh, but it wasn't sore so wasn't too bad. I'll be more careful next time and be sure to reapply the sun-cream.
I also spoke to my mum on FaceTime for a long time, that was really nice. I then did some hoovering and tidying as a surprise for when Dad got home.
We had pie and veg for dinner, a little taste of home.
5th August:
On Wednesday we watched a lot of 'My Mad Fat Diary'. It's a great TV show, I was sceptical at first being a bit judgemental from the adverts I'd seen, but it's actually really good. Liv and I binge watched it in two days and now I can't wait to watch series 3.
That took up a lot of the day... along with some reading and web surfing.
In the evening we went to Walmart and I couldn't help myself from buying more stationary... I foound a pack of 24 gel pens for $11.97 and some black PaperMate pens. I promised Meg I'd buy her a pack if I found some, so I bought two packs of those. I also bought myself and Nanny a Sally Hansen 'Nailgrowth Miracle'. It supposedly makes your nails grow longer in shorter time. I'm trying to re-grow mine after I chewed them all off during my exams. I want them long enough and healthy enough to get a manicure before I go home. I also want them long because we can have them painted at sixth form and I'm definitely doing that. I love painted nails, but only when they're a decent length.
We also went to Dollar Tree before going to Chipotle (!!!!) for dinner. As always that was amazing. I wish you could try Chipotle and know what I'm talking about.
6th August:
Yesterday we went to Waterford Lakes with Debbie. There's loads of shops, cafes and a cinema there. Firstly we went to 'Planet Smoothie' where I had a smoothie called 'The Last Mango', I don't know why. It was made up of mangoes (I know, you'd never have guessed), bananas, strawberries and yogurt. Debbie accidentally ordered 'Medium' which would be classed as Large or XLarge in the UK, it was big, but delicious so I finished it all. Liv had a 'Strawberry Aphrodite'. It was very creamy as it had lots of Greek yoghurt in it.

We also went to T.J Maxx where I bought a top saying 'Running Late is my Cardio'. Very true. I need to do more exercise. Which brings me to the news I forgot to add in earlier. My mum has bought an exercise bike with cross trainer, which is great because I needed to figure out some kind of exercise plan for the next few years as I won't have P.E in school- hallelujah!
In the evening we went down to Universal with the hope of getting into the Hard Rock. It was as expected, very busy. There was about a 35-45 minute wait, so we ditched that plan and went for pizza instead. We went to the Red Oven Pizza Bakery. It was good pizza, Italian style. We had a mushroom one, a veggie one and a pepperoni one too.
After pizza and pink lemonade we went into the park, into Universal Studios. We went on the Mummy and then Disaster and then went to the Ben and Jerry's ice cream parlour. Liv and I had a Caramel Core Sundae. You pick two different flavours of their ice cream and a topping and they pour caramel between the two and top it with whipped cream. I had cookie dough and chunky monkey with gummy bears, Liv had cookie dough and phish food.

That's about it for the last few days. Sorry it's been a while, but as we've had relaxing TV days I thought I'd gather a few together to bulk up this post.
Until next time,
